Community Shield!

Community Shield!

Postby Yffi_88 » Wed May 23, 2012 10:19 am

Might be a bit premature on this one… but does anyone know/have any idea when they’ll release details of the Community Shield tickets?

Wouldn’t mind going down but I know there’ll be a massively reduced capacity from that at Wembley.

Did any of those who went last year have much trouble getting tickets / will there be a big response?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Didn't even seem to sell out last year I believe. I remember looking up and seeing plenty of empty seats in the top tiers.

I would have thought there'd be a lot of 'glory hunters' there last year too.

A cup final seems the perfect place to hunt glory.

fucking glory hunters. ;-)

We need to stop winning things. That'll get rid of them.

Villa Park will sell out -piece of piss.

Don't really know why they are not holding it at the Millenium Stadium or is that being used for the London Olympics as well?

I just hope the lower capacity doesn't mean an increase in ticket costs.

Couldn't you pick up a ticket for the last Cummunity Shield game for about £20?

If it went to the FA and the clubs it would. But it's still basically the Charity Shield, so they wont really be arsed about the takings!

I was there last year and hope to get tickets this year too, It didn't sell out last year we all know that but it didn't help with so many of the corporate tickets not being used also. With any luck there will be a bigger share for the fans of both teams.
