This puts this to bed.
Zaba, Edin, Mario And Kun All Commit To City Cause
A raft of City players have left bored thumb up bum football hacks crestfallen this week with statements committing to their belief in Manchester City...
The oldest of a young quartet with many years remaining on the clock is Blue lionheart 27 year old Pablo Zabaleta whose performances have been sensational this past season, attracting elite club admirers. He told the SportCity hierarchy this week that he will not listen if Barçelona come knocking.
Zaba's fellow countryman, 30 goal City legend Sergio Aguero is next to nail his colours to the City mast, despite his father in law, Diego Maradona's shite stirring:
'I will continue with City, I want to play in the Champions League here. Today City lives up to anyone, so I do not want to go. I decide where to go. If I say I stay, I stay.'
Then there's Mario Balotelli. Still smiling and gearing up for Euro 2012:
'I play at Manchester City. I am happy at City and I will remain there...I am young and it is normal that I make mistakes...with regards to the psychological aspect, I do not pay attention because I am fed up with what everyone says. I just have to improve tactically, mature and score always...In England they tend to exaggerate regarding what I do off the pitch. But those that love me know what I am really like.'
Finally, Irfan Redzepagic the agent of Edin Dzeko, a scorer of crucial goals this season said today:
'...Edin plans to stay at Manchester City...he wants to play in England at City.'

I think I heard Bobby in interview say "as far as I am concerned they can all stay".
I hope they do.
There's enough money's worth out on loan to fund the "spree" we need.
Those four are a good start

As league champions our confidence will be sky high. I fancy us against any team in the world next year

I'd be quite happy for Dzeko and Ballo to go, Dzeko's not good enough if we want to win Champs Lge, Ballo can't be trusted to stay on the pitch. Let's ship them out and get RVP and another quality striker in.

Dzeko and Balo will be fine for Europe, in a bizzare way they have far more experience of that type of football than most of the England players in our side. Together, we'll grow and build some history

Carl, Thanks for that Mate, it cheered me up.
But can't you just see the next Sky News report....
"City in crisis as only four of their squad are happy to stay at the Etihad"....Aguero, Zabaleta, Dzeko and the unpredictable Balotelli have all signalled their wish to remain with Manchester City for the coming season. But there has been little or no words of loyalty from the rest of the City squad who luckily stole the Premier League title from their rivals in the very last seconds, after 44 years in football's wilderness.
Having this week allowed a large amount of Academy failures to leave, Mancini will be hard pressed to field a full team ready for the opening fixture of the next season.

Good post Carl....I laughed when I read the original Pablo article
Manchester City star Zabaleta snubs Barcelona
City striker Balotelli snubs AC Milan interest
City hitman Dzeko not interested in Juventus
City's Aguero say's "I'm going nowhere" to Real Madrid
.....it's almost too bonkers for words! Brilliant, brilliant days.
It's lovely to no longer be envious of John, Doug and all those who got to live through those last years of the 1960's as City fans. Would have still loved to have been able to see that side play (as the football looked terrific, even today) but how lucky are we all!??!

Are you their script writer? If I may suggest one change, the Academy failures didn't leave, they just chose to play for Brighton or Rochdale etc instead. That sounds better, as it gives the impression that we wanted them but they hated us. Good attempt though.

..and they'd probably still refer to our "rivals" as the "champions elect" or "deserving league leaders"...you were too kind to them there John lol

Brilliant. How have they managed to confuse Nigel de Jong and Craig David?
This is a ridiculous news story based on nothing at all. It reads as though it's been written by a dog as well.

Nige is much-saught-after throughout Europe for his chameleon-like ability to morph into the likeness of a team mate. it confuses the neck out of opposition (and lazy hacks).

If Spews is genuinely interested in signing Big Nige, there will be a 'QPR Premium' to incorporate into the player's valuation and into any transfer negotiations.
This would mean that the lowest offer might start at £25million and we could even squeeze £30million out of them....all for a player with only 12 months to run on his current contract.

we'd better cash in on AJ and Dzeko if we plan to sign Hazard and Martinez (although the latter could just be a big rumor)
