There are Salford squads from years gone by that would have been hard to beat even with the team we have now, squads that were reinforced every year with genuine quality.

They have made no signings of world class players for at least three seasons, failed to replace Ronaldo or Tevez and he thinks that Giggs(39), Scholes(38) Ferdinand (34), Vidic(31), Evra (30) and Carrick(30) have still got the potential to improve???

Ok that wont be the backbone of the team week in week out but most of them would not have been in Salford squads of yesteryear, they would have been moved on while they still had some value to be replaced by the next generation.
