We actually don't have a single thing to complain about our club.

The Hughes/Mancini bitchwar has come back into full swing. Almost two and a half years after it reached a (very) reasonable end.

So much more interesting and attention-grabbing than the police beatings and stabbings of Platinifest 2012 that's about to commence...

Would John68 be willing to moderate discussions between older (ie from CARL's age upwards, like 47 plus) posters on 'where City went wrong/right over the years' for this summer? Maybe 5-8 discussions, lasting 72 hours each, one per week? Threads then locked, and a vote on the outcome(s): best post/poster, which side you take, etc.

as well as NQDP holds a very fine knowledge of football and I suspect he loves City much much more than he hates U***d (hugely nonetheless).

I took an exception that what Doug posted mainly because it has really bothered me for years now how Doug has potrayed Mancini and Hughes. If that post was by anyone else, I wouldn't have given a shit. Doug don't always quite seem to understand how many people actually read his training reports and therefore posts. There's a fine line with what he says as a fact and what is his own opinion. We have literally hundreds of people signed to this site, who don't even post, and who take his word as a gospel. And thousand million thanks to him for his training reports. It might not sound like that but I am extremely gratefull for them. He just needs to know the influence he has.

Re that topic, I hadn't been posting on it for few pages before rugby feller took, in my opinion, completely unwarranted exception to me. Had said what I had to say about the subject and that was that.

And looking it the other way, no one gives a shit if someone says Pearce is a clueless manager (which he is, mind) or Keegan's second stint at Newcastle was fucking embarrasing (which it was and long time posters will tell you that I am massive Keegan licker). But when it's about Hughes and his NEW club and how he is doing THERE, no one should say anything. I think that's pretty stupid honestly. You may be well right here, Sir, and I think You well are (for what's worth...)
but - taking aside the "being gracious in victory" argument, You should know better than anyone, and I think You actually do, that if this venue wasn't fed with all those huge EGOs, it would not be such a special place.

and on a separate - personal off topic note - the simple fact that someone is in the knowledge of a "couple of books" more than people from mean street, like our BiB for instance, does not make him/her a Upper Accademy snob bloke.
