They arrested the gk of the team that is about to be bought by Sven. I saw this morning on the local news that they said he went missing, but was caught by the italian police.

From what i've seen this season, he was very involved in the match fixing business. Some of the goals he let it were laughable.

Given the suspicion that many on here have about our own game, I suppose you could say that at least the Italians catch them.

That's it - do they have a problem that the rest of Europe hasn't, or have they just got better at spotting it? Only time will tell, I guess.

The fact they allow racism and hooliganism to continue suggests they're not that good at spotting stuff.

I'll stick with the English way any day of the week...

Just looking for an incident when a few of the ultras got onto the pitch at a Roma match and spoke to Totti about abandoning the game and it brought me to this page. Good read but gives an idea of what horrible fuclers they are.

IMO, italian football is far more corrupt than any of the other major leagues. The corruption goes much further than the clubs themselves. Fans, police, politicians - they're all fucked.

EPL isnt the most squeaky clean organisation/league in the world but give me that over those lot any day.

There are some curious reports on twitter :

1) Bobo Vieri will be arrested tonight after he won a huge amount of money after a game Inter had this season.
2) They italian government are talking about stopping the Italian league for 3 years.
