I actually agree with you. Good experience at both PL and CL levels and can play on either flank as well as through the middle. I think he'd be a useful member of the 25, though not a regular starter in anything other than both domestic cups.

When the niggles kick around mid season, hes not a bad player to bring into a couple of games to break it up. Having said that, every couple of years he'll piss off to the African Cup of Nations. However if his wage demands are respectable, I don't see to much harm in it. We don't have too much depth in wide positions, and he won't bring an ego with him.
