For anyone who knows what I'm talking about here, I've just got the new season ticket and noted that the deadline for these ST applications is 5th July. Last year I left it too late.

£27.99 for a year

Why do they limit/restrict membership?

I usually pay £6 every 2 months but the season ticket will save me any hassle. Been a member of lol for years but dont they have a capped limit this year with the 3pm kickoffs?

Dont think its necessarily a capped limit for 3pm kickoffs. Its just that the laws on broadcasting all the 3pm matches abroad has changed so there just wont be as many 3pm kickoffs for them to stream. It just means that some of the saturday 3pm kickoffs will not be being broadcast anywhere in the world live but it shouldnt be a problem for games involving city due to our recent rise!

This is how i understand it anyway. Could be completely wrong

That is pretty much spot on. TV companies abroad in the past could broadcast every Premier League game at 3pm on a Saturday, therefore there were always streams for every game. That has now been limited to 2 games (I think its 2 anyway) per broadcaster worldwide. So on a Saturday afternoon, most tv companies are going to pick the 2 most 'glamorous' games, so catching Stoke - Sunderland might become a bit of a chellenge, but it shouldn't effect us too much now that we are where we are.

I thought I saw an option to 'sign up' too, which may mean it's open to new members again.

Ah cheers for the reminder. Just bought my season ticket. Beats worrying about paying £6 every two months I guess.

Still don't understand why you don't just use wiziwig.tv for about 4 or 5 free HD streams in multiple languages... oh well to each his own
