I posted on here that I thought I was in that pub on the day of the parade. I was that pissed I couldn't be sure, but I went & had a look tother day & it turns out I was. I'm gradually piecing it all together.

No I wasn't there when they were doing that (I don't think that was on the parade day was it ? ) but we were all having a sing song. And the beer was dead cheap (that I do remember).

Superb way to spend 5 minutes in the boredom of July! ya ya attracts some great songs after a good result.

I think I must have sang him name about 4 million times on the way back from the Rag semi, along with 52 other fellas of course.

We were the same in Gulliver's on Oldham Street. A fantastic memory I will treasure for ever. And still re-enact every now again. No lustre lost.
