Said thread would be full of so much bollox within 1 week, that it would make Chinners section look like the gospel truth.
The Twitter ITK is even worse than the internet messageboard version. As an aside, I have absolutely zilch in the way of transfer ITK information but if someone I trusted or within football told me something to keep secret, the last thing I would do is splash it all over Twitter or a messageboard anyway.

Mario Balotelli struck twice in the first half to inspire Italy to a 2-1 victory over Germany and book their place in the Euro 2012 final against defending champions Spain in Kiev on Sunday.
The Manchester City striker and Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo were the standout performers as Cesare Prandelli’s side caused a shock in the second semi-final, and the 21-year-old’s exploits received plenty of praise from his colleagues on Twitter.

Half-time: Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) isn't even going to bother trying to pretend anymore that he ever had any genuine loyalty to England & is anything other than (yet another) self centred, phoney, egotistical, rag twat.

... who also happened to be right. England were dire. It's more entertaining watching the USA. You can still switch you know, we do take most of the riffraff of the world, though they did close down Ellis Island a while back ...

You no longer take the riffraff of the world, you ARE the riffraff of the world.

Que?
They have German mother and were both born in Berlin. Kevin-Prince Boateng also represented Germany in U21 level and mainly chose to play for Ghana because he would've never made it to Germany full national team.
Apparently the brothers had some sort of fall out over some footballing matters but like Tokyo said, it's nothing sort of bizarre to see him cheer for Italy.
Edit.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin-Prince_BoatengCheck the personal life bit. This guy is a proper weirdo. "Ghetto kid" who is shoppaholic.

KPB easily has the talent to play for ze Germans, much better player than Kroos, Gundogan (who I rate highly, but is still young & unproven internationally) & arguably Khedira.
The problem for him was the constant witch hunts by the German media & after his foul on Ballack most of the imbecile armchair fans threatening him.
It's perfectly fine if he chooses to support another national team as no person anywhere has the obligation to support their country in a fecking football tournament or any such bollix. I'd wager playing in Italy makes expressing those sympathies easier as well.
