Seen as though we dont have a rumour thread:
http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wol ... ster-city/If he goes there for a year it will be end of his city career, if hes not currently good enough for a premiership team he will never be good enough for a team looking for world domination.

Judging by the comments they'd kill for a player like Savic and seem quite excited at the prospect!
One poster saw him play last season and he was "quality". Not sure if the bloke's blind, lying, or just too accustomed to watching Wolves.

He scored at Blackburn so he is not completely hopeless!
Would be nice if he went there on loan as he would have a chance to show us what he's capable of and yet it couldn't harm us. I agree with Dubciteh tho, I don't think he would come back after that year

If you ask me, this is the best thing that could happen to him. Playing week in, week out with teams like Derby, Sheffield, Forest, teams that play in the most pure and common british way, would help him grow as a player.
What else can help him grow instead of playing in a heavy rain at Hull?
This can be his only chance to prove himself.

Tbf to Savic, he looked poor in a title winning side, but if he can sort out his concentration, he'd be a decent signing for a Championship club. They might want to consider playing him at RB, although they seem to be stacked in that department (Stearman, Foley, Zubar).
And wow, do they have a gigantic squad or what?

I went to the Carling Cup game at the Molyneux, he played right back and had a reasonable game which is maybe why they think he's OK.

If I was a Wolves fan I would love this. Savic is not good enough to play for a top 6 team but he would easily get his game for any other team in the PL and he would be amzing in the Championship.

Just what he needs. He'll get battered to bits. If he stands up to it he could be back with us and looking like a centre half. If not, he needs to move abroad, somewhere where it's a bit more gentle.

Savic can play a bit. I'd loan him to a team that could make use of that aspect of his game.

How in god's name do they rate this guy as quality? They would have seen him play for City and probably just City, can only remember one game where he wasn't shite and that's because he didn't have anything to do. May as well loan him, because I think City have to seriously consider bringing in another centrehalf anyway.

One giant fuck up per game might be an improvement on the shambles wolves were last term.

I agree with this.
I'm not convinced Savic will make it with us, but this would be a good opportunity for him to find out what British football is about. If he can have a half-decent season on loan somewhere, we might be able to get back a reasonable amount of the 7m we paid for him.
