As always, we are hoping that rather than starting a new topic for every rumour you'd be using this topic to gather all the rumours together. Rumour topics (apart from Chinners Bolloxxxxx of course) will be ruthlessly merged to this topic.
Thank you.

5 days to the start of pre-season - despite today's reports I am still predicting the arrival of Van Persie and the departure of Tevez to Real Madrid. This would not be a matter of unconfined joy if it comes to pass.

I don't think he would come back, his ego was a bit mental last time around. It would be of epic proportions now! I hope i am correct.

James Ducker (Northern football correspondent at the Times) has tweeted today that he's been told City are highly interested in Javi Martinez. Bilbao want £28M, but the player is very interested in City, unfortunately, Bayern, Real and Barcelona are also in the frame. But he said City are incredibly attractive now, and obviously would offer an amazing wage.

If we could we should take him in a nano-second i think he is potentially a world beater.

Can we start a rumour and see if it spreads?

Looks excellent as a ball playing defensive midfield player, and also looks like an excellent centre back. So he could easily cover/play instead of Barry/Toure/Lescott/Kompany

Get in. Although I would've preferred it to be for good.
If we are indeed letting Savic go I am almost 100% certain we are close to buying CB. Martinez? Wish we would be going for Subotic.
