Good for him. He will do well there. MLS is on the brink of not completely sucking donkey balls. #crazy

I follow New York quite a bit tbh.
I'm curious to see how he'll do there.

Most of his goals come from headers and New York have only 2 players that can actually put a decent ball in (Lade and Henry). He has enough quality though to bag quite a few goals in MLS though.

It's not just me thinking it sucks less this season is it? I've only watched about 5 matches but I've been surprised. What do you think?

It's definitely getting better each year.
I only started following MLS in 2008 but since then the quality has increased substantially. Still nowhere near the prem but it's becoming far more enjoyable to watch.

Cahill is going to be a massive miss for everton. Probably one of their best players down the years and a steal of a buy from millwall. One of those players I wish we had signed.

He was fantastic, but its probably the right move for them to get him off the wage bill now. He only scored twice last season in thirty odd games and is now in his thirties. Moyes is probably grateful to get a fee and free up room for someone else. definitely would have loved him at our place a few years ago tho.

Disappointed to see him leave the Premiership at 32. One of the best signings of the past 10 years at 3 million. Still doing well for our national team too.

Still, after 8 years living in Greater Manchester, New York's probably not a bad place to finish up.

They don't need him as much now they have Jelavic. Probs why they're letting him go. Finally found a striker worth something.

It is getting better you guys are right. I live near(ish) to toronto so I support TFC, watch the odd game on TV and i've gone to 3 games so far this season, all within the past month (the first part of the season was absolutely dreadful). I've been lucky enough to witness 1 - 1 against NY, 3 - 2 against vancouver (amazing game to be at) and 2 - 1 against colorado, which were all good games to watch. TFC with their new manager, and the rest of the MLS, is indeed improving. Cahills signing is a good one for the whole league, these players help not only fill their stadiums, but other teams as well. The NY game, cause of henry, and vancouver game, because they are our rivals, were pushing capacity. While the Colorado game was around 18,000.

Can I just add, I watched a US game on the PC recently, due to being stuck indoors in the middle of a fucking storm from hell, & it sucked.
