£52 for Level 1, £56 for Level 2 and £51 for Level 3. Ouch!!! Seem a bit much to charge that after the prices of last season.

Probably helps them to push up the demand for season tickets for the following season. Once the waiting list reaches the correct level, they can expand the ground.

im just wondering how much v scum chelsea arsenal matches, i mean saints would maybe have been in cat c maybe eg, the lowest price. cant really complain when you think how far the present owners have taken the club, but for a family its really expensive.

Possibly it's seen as a catagory A because it's the 1st game of the season for the Champion's ? Poss new signings etc ?

Perhaps Southampton would be cheaper if it was a few weeks later in the season ?

Yeah, this will be a CAT A game, like QPR last game of the season. Im pretty sure this is as high as it will go. QPR cost me £50 if I remember correctly, so if ya think about it, its about the same as last season.

So if we had United, Arsenal or Chelsea first or last game it would be ok to hike prices up to say £70??? ... it sucks in my mind. Thank fucl for ST's or I'd be giving the Saints game a skip tbh

No.

It would be a catagory A game, so the same price.

No.

But would it? I suspect a new A+ category would be invented, just like Chelsea did a few seasons back.

Well if so, that would be the time to complain about it, but personally I think treating the 1st game of the season as a catagory A is fair enough. All prices for football are too high but we have that bent twat Platini to blame fr every extra penny it costs us.

The game against the rags will break the £70 mark this season. Doubt you will get a single game in the league for less than £40. Sucks to be a blue member.

Avg price say 45 x 19 = £210 more than mine and my sons platinum season cards.

We already have this by the way. Arse, Chelsea, spurs and Liverpool are category A and the rags are AA. I noticed this last season not sure if it was introduced last season or if it has been going on for longer.

With the FFP we have to look at our revenue and, unfortunately, pushing ticket prices up is easy way to do that.

but imo this is decent way to do it by the club. Keep season tickets low but push up the ticket prices for blue members/single games to make up for the "lost money" due to lower ST prices. Imo as long as the season ticket prices are kept reasonable this is the best way to do so.

But then again, my point of view is somewhat different as for me going to a match isn't just a stroll in the park...

edit: and I reckon the home derby ticket will be priced at £70. it's definitely not just a CAT A game.
