Never forget that over-the-shoulder volley from Gazza's floated free kick into the box for England v Belgium in Italia 90 in the last minute. Truly magnificent.

He was a fantastic footballer in his day.

I feel very unclean right now, but I am actually starting to like him. Very passionate about City and his interviews have been absolutely top drawer. Not so long ago I couldn't see him in a city jacket/shirt without wanting to punch him in the face repeatedly.

I think he has done well handling things in the media when Bob's English isn't quite up to it.

It does feel wrong writing positives about him, doesn't it? But only a fool never changes their mind.

Hate the prick! Loved sticking the boot in before he joined.

I think someone on here said recently they saw him in Alderley Edge; If I see the munich prick around here I'll tell him exactly how I feel about him and I'll be wearing my City shirt while I'm doing it.

That's what I thought when I switched to supporting Chelsea for 5 years.

Platt helped us win a FA Cup and league title. Hating him because of comments that he said 5 years ago is stupid, petty, and embarrassing. Life moves on and you should too

Hating him for sticking the boot in when it suited him, but then getting offered to get paid a lot of money and suddenly changing his attitude is perfectly within reason.

Out of interest mate, what did Platt do? Genuinely. Or is it because he's part of the coaching staff and that's it?

I'm buzzing about Savic helping us win the title last year by the way. Any naysayers are embarrassing!

He's the main assistant to Mancini and works directly with the 1st team every day. How is this even a question?
