Couldn't see this posted anywhere else, but we've already made 2 bids for Agger according to Sky Sports.

Here's the full article. No quotes on there as usual from SSN
Sky Sports understands Liverpool have rejected two offers from Manchester City for defender Daniel Agger.
City have targeted a move for Agger as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of the new season.
City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted a new central defender is one of his top priorities with the Italian short of cover in central defence.
Kolo Toure is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium leaving just Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott and Stefan Savic as his only three recognised centre-backs.
Agger, who joined Liverpool from Brondby in 2006, has established himself as a key member of the Reds side since arriving on Merseyside.
The 27-year-old has two years to run on his current deal and although Reds boss Brendan Rodgers would be reluctant to lose the Denmark international he could find it hard to resist a big-money offer for Agger which he could then use to strengthen his squad elsewhere
City are thought to have had offers of £13million and £16million rejected by Liverpool, but they could come back with a third bid as they look to make their first signing of the summer.
Spanish giants Barcelona are also thought to be tracking Agger and they could rival City for the classy centre-back's signature.

Same here. He is a quality defender and would be a great addition to the squad

I actually prefer Skrtel. Agger gets too many injuries.

Isnt agger a bit of a sicknote? last season is the only season i remember him not been crocked for. i have heard rumours(may or may not be true) that he is far from the model professional too. In saying that 13m seems ok wouldnt go higher than that. Would rather Collicini on the cheap if that was possible, im growing fond of Argies!

Collocini was amazing at the olympics 12 years back, so that would make him probably on the wrong side of 30 now.
Don't think he would be a wise investment. Agger would add depth to the squad for a few years, I think he would be a great addition. Scumtel can fuck off, fly kicking bastid.

I have to say Agger is a quality player but the extent of his injury record is quite off putting.
If we have already had bids rejected for the figures reported of £13 & £16 million i would hope we leave it at that.
Good player but not at that price considering his record of sicknotes.

Both are good. Skrtel is less fragile.

Skrtel also has 1000% more Area 51/crash landed Alien head in case that's a criteria Marwood considers when he's at the big boy table "makin dills" to quote my friend Bushwick Bill.

Good point. The screams of terror coming from the Family Stand just don't bear thinking about.

I dislike both of them. They may be good but not worthy of wearing a blue shirt.

It baffles me why we didnt take a punt on Verthongan at less than 10m.

If you're thinking of the same incident that I am, at least it exposed Joke for the pussy that he is/was.

Exactly.
I think Agger's a great defender, but not at the money Liverpool will want. Plus I don't think he'll leave.

Exactly so. There are far better options we could be considering, rather than any Liverpuddlian third rater with an exorbitant fee round his neck.

Why wouldn't he?
Chumps league football
More money
Real chance to win Premier League...to begin with
