If you believe Twitter, then Scott Sinclair is signing for us today. I think maybe a little pinch of salt required on that one, given Twitter ... but all of a sudden the chatter has increased from Wales end as well, plus a mate whose niece works at the club says possibly two signings due this week, she isn't high up enough to know which though.

Who do you think will be the first signing this summer? Sinclair, Agger, Van Persie, DeRossi, Martinez or someone completely new out of the blue?

been looking at twitter it was same yesterday with agger and still no one as signed, actually someone tweets for this website dont know who though.

yeah, and whoever that is keeps selling some off-airport parking saying its run by fellow blues so please support it ... comes across as begging for charity, imho.

AJ or Sinclair? I dont see room for both, AJ is twice the player in my opinion. I'd be gutted if we bought him in.

The Sinclair story was in the Bollox 2 days ago ... Twitter needs to get more up to date

The story has been circling for a week but rumours on Twitter are a possible medical and announcement this afternoon ... AJ could be going to Liverpool in deal against Agger so Agger and Sinclair could be two players coming in this week or maybe Agger and DeRossi. Mancini apparently is very unhappy with AJ.

Good enough for the CC (have they changed the sponsor now?) FA cup and the last 2 CL group games when we have already gone through.

Widely accepted that we only need to improve on the cover/plan b because our starters are the best 11 in the league by a mile. A few of our non starters are miles better than their opposition counterparts to be honest.

does have pace though and that's what mancini likes him for ... could be used as an impact sub, or actually might flourish amongst this group we have. Is young and can improve in our system. Don't think the support he gets around there really gives him much to excel, and might do just that over here ...

He isn't good enough, DeRossi is too old, Agger isnt good enough and injury prone ... who is then good enough for us? All those banging on for signings, who out there is available and good enough for us??

i think we have missed out on him now

personally i think sinclair fits the profile of the type of players we should be looking for - like it has already been said, can fill the impact sub role that AJ does, he's only 23 and available for 8m. he's got a bagful of tricks (which AJ has) and has more pace than anyone in our side (which AJ does not).

sinclair, agger, and de rossi/martinez would be a very good window IMO

I love swp but my god I don't remember a player losing it so quickly as he did. Never scores or beats his man anymore.

Yeah true, maybe i'm being sentimental lol. But Sinclair FFS, would have preferred Junior Hoilett or Stephane Sessegnon to Sinclair.

Hoilett would of been a better option if thats what we were looking for. Sinclair has had so many clubs and only settled at one. He's like a poor jermaine pennant, surely with our worldwide scouts we could of found someone better outside of england? I dont know about this one at all if its true, i'll trust mancini though.
