I watched some of that Real game, the commentator said in passing that City have just signed a 16 year old from Majorca. (didn't say who, just a rather cryptic "watch this space")

Messi again. 3-1. 15 mins.

He scored 82 goals in 69 games last season for club and country. Chance of him beating that this season?

4-1. Pedro

Tello on the left looks very impressive. Barca looking very comfortable now but certainly giving up opportunities to Sociadad. Barca finishing is pretty clinical though.

5-1. David Villa comes on as sub. Finally back from long lay off with broken leg. Links up with another sub, Iniesta to score with about 5 mins left.

I know that Valencia are better opponents than Real Sociedad but Barca looked sharper than Real Madrid. Ronaldo didn't look as impressive as Messi did. It's too early to judge but this should be an interesting season

1st leg of the Spanish super cup tonight. Real Madrid v Barcelona, or should I say Ronaldo v Messi.

Hope it turns out to be a good game.

Glad we are not seeing all the diving and cheating from previous Classico matches. So far anyway! Fucking Alexis shoves that in my pipe.

Barca is owning Madrid but no end product. Casillas has only been tested once!

Enjoying the 2nd half, let's see if Real can get one back or has Mourinho gone defensive too soon?

Good second half.
I still think Ronaldo doesn't turn up against Barca. I know he scored but think about how many times you heard is name tonight compared to any other game. No comparison. He just hides in messi's shadow.
