Not a wind up, but no truth in it.
There was an article in the paper at the weekend and now this on SSN. I think the rags are starting to warm the prawn sandwich munchers up to the fact that he'll be sold in either January or next summer. Talk about it for months and it just becomes expected, as with Tranny previously.
Problem this time will be finding a buyer. Shrek still has that raw talent he had at 16. Unfortunately he's now 27 and I don't see where he's improved. His performances for England have shown that he's far from world class. That's also 11 years of top level football with a lot of weight on knees and ankles. I'd be surprised if he's playing regularly beyond 30

The story on SSN. United ready to cash in on Rooney IF he doesn't improve his form. United want 50 million. Barca, real and PSG don't want him so that leaves city.
Complete bullshit.

I'm just off now to get a shirt printed up and hang around Eastlands till Swanson turns up with his chubby face and microphone.

Some people saying fergie and shrek have barely spoken after a huge argument in preseason.
Others saying he wants a loan to EFC.
Bollox of the highest order.

Ha!!!
Just a mere flesh wound.
In all seriousness. I hate Rooney more than Nani so no way. Wazzer's out for a month (at least) now anyway so don't see it happening.

Next season he may be available. Can't imagine Rooney at anywhere other than Utd though.
Imagine him & his wife living in Madrid or Barcelona ? If he startted trying to learn Spanish now he wouldn't get it by this time next year & his football would suffer as he double tasked his brain (like when he's chewing gum & walking).
The rags may want to sell him to pay off this year's transfers if they have a bad season but where can he realistically go ?

Nowhere. No-one will pay him what he is getting at the fleapit or pay the transfer fee the filth would ask for him because he simply isn't that good.

These twatter rumours about him falling out with bacon-face aren't too hard to believe. The ones saying he wants a loan to Everton are though.
It's pretty funny reading what all these 'agents' are saying. Especially when they slag each other off for talking bollox.

had his chance - was up for it at the time but in hindsight we dodged a massive, massive, ginger bullet
50 million? No chance..

Let him rot with the rags. His wages can carry on draining their resources :)

This for me (if it's true they want rid) is the real reason. They cannot afford to be giving him 230,000 a week for the next 3 years while he steadily declines.
Personally I thought and a few rag mates thought they would of and should of cashed in on him this summer because he hasn't been that good for a while.
