Looks like we have almost signed one player before Fridays deadline in Nastasic, but if you were to sign one/two more players before Friday who would they be and why?
You have £32 million to spend.

Bobs targets:
Javi Garcia £24 million
Scott Sinclair £7 million
Theo Walcott £9 million
Nani £19 million (reported)
Maicon £6 million
Agger £20 million
De Rossi £30 million
Aron Lennon £10 million

I'm really not all that excited by any on the list.

Assuming we sign any players tomorrow, it appears likely to be functional squad padding rather than anything that will make a huge difference.

I think we have to get pace which means ive warmed to the sinclair idea, Walcott is now staying at arsenal having agreed a short term compromise. De Rossi should only happen if De Jong goes but that looks highly unlikely at this stage and with de jong starting at weekend.

Thats's easy ...

Plan A:
De Rossi £30 million

Plan B:
Javi Garcia £24 million
Scott Sinclair £7 million

And I agree, no thank you to Nani even at £9m, let alone £19m ...

Out
Santa
Kolo

In
DDR
Walcott

I know it's over the £32m, but I would use the surplus generated through sale of Kolo

Walcott and Sinclair. I know not everyone's cup of tea, but would allow us to completely change style for some games or during a game. Might even get the best out of Dzeko and Mario has shown he's decent in the air. A real plan B for less than £20m

De Rossi is my No1 on the wishlist.

If it was upto me, I would go all out for Jovetic.

I would just like to throw in a wild card here & say, seeing as we seem to be linked with headless chicken types, I think Bob may bid for Sturridge.

Cook would've put in a bid for Sturridge on loan. Just for the heck of it.

Yeah, at this stage I think we don't need to get anyone on that list.

Nastasic might still come, but that's fine. It'd be good to get Santa Cruz off the books too.
