Did Stuart Taylor leave? That can be the only cause.
Didn't he almost relegated Everton?

Released by Preston.
He was shit at the height of his ability.
He must be there as Les Chapman's assistant.

I knew we are going to pull someone like Hargreaves on the last day ... I was hoping the final signing this window will be something out of the box unexpected and that should make this whole window look alright in the end ... but this ... it's the opposite of it, now the whole transfer window looks shit, especially look at Chelsea and Scum signings this summer ...

I was kind of hoping for a year of Del Piero action.
NOT FUCKING RICHARD WRIGHT.

Can I just ask who you lot expected us to get to take the role of 3rd choice keeper that would never play? It seems a decent replacement for Taylor to me.

I'd go with that and he was quite highly thought of early on about level with Weaver from what I remember. Not a bad option for a No3 IMO.

Word on the wire is that we're discussing a deal for Izale McLeod, too.
And who would I have as third choice? Someone from the academy. Didn't Nielsen already re-sign? Sheffield United cancelled Wright's contract because of injury and Colchester passed on him.

I was wondeirng where we going to replace Taylor, im surprised we let him go as we was popular with the lads and happy to be third choice. Wright seems perfect for the role i was hoping we would get one of the out of contract keepers like say Gordon but thats asking a bit much and a bit of a waste of wages. Wright is perfect for the role imo. Good signing.

For a 3rd choice we could have done worse.
Taylor btw turned down a new contract from us, wasn't let go.

I don't know whether this is funny or sad?
Oh, and in club like ours we should always have at least one decent keeper coming through who'd be third choice. Richard Wright FFS! Guy was actually pretty shite even when he was highly thought of in Ipswich. And this was like ten million years ago.
