It's a compliment in a way but....most importantly....we would not have signed him to be our first team keeper if we had been where we are now. We're not in the business of signing keepers who are over the hill these days..........

He has totally cunted himself in recent times.

I remember him sitting at a City Utd game with a blue & white tie on when his son was at City. Now he's trying to suck up to the rags fans by coming out with all this revisionist bullshit.

Why does this surprise people? Once a rag cunt, always a rag cunt. People, don't forget that basic rule.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

'bringing in players from local areas' - Shrek, Ferdinand, Vidic, Tranny, Veron, Anderson et al. Does local now mean born on this planet?

Bearing in mind that it's the Mail and that he's come onboard as an ambassador for them, I don't think he's said anything too disagreeable.

He didn't want to sign for a team that was a title challenger for them, fair enough.

Beyond that it's his job to talk about what a great club he's working for.
