It's a compliment in a way but....most importantly....we would not have signed him to be our first team keeper if we had been where we are now. We're not in the business of signing keepers who are over the hill these days..........

He has totally cunted himself in recent times.
I remember him sitting at a City Utd game with a blue & white tie on when his son was at City. Now he's trying to suck up to the rags fans by coming out with all this revisionist bullshit.

Bearing in mind that it's the Mail and that he's come onboard as an ambassador for them, I don't think he's said anything too disagreeable.
He didn't want to sign for a team that was a title challenger for them, fair enough.
Beyond that it's his job to talk about what a great club he's working for.
