AJ was unhappy to be a 20 mins here and there player and has england ambitions...de jong also prob wouldnt start as many games as in the past and is out of contract next year refusing to sign a new one..for whatever reason. Weve got sinclair and rodwell who can improve and are aware, im sure, that they arent first eleven picks. They are happy to be here. Nothing to be angry about

Bollox mate, niether of the two coming in are as good as the two going out, therefore we are NOT as strong a squad, end of story mate!

That's my thoughts. No problem with having squad players and don't expect constant stream of "world class" arrivals, but our squad appears weakened to me.

Sinclair and Rodwell may be hungrier and younger, but Johnson and DJ have better quality when it matters.
We need to add real quality with a tough season and CL looming.

No way Sinclair and Rodwell will make us a stronger team or more importantly as strong as our competitors (NOW). Mancini was right in saying 'We need to improve our squad' and basically we have at very best and at a push stood still this transfer window. Does Marwood only like English players btw?

I hope I am completely wrong and we sign someone who we can look at as improving our squad in the next 24 hours or so but hes had months to sort this out. Theres something completely wrong with this guy being in charge of transfer negotiations.. if indeed thats what hes been (meant to have been) doing.

i've seen some things in Rodwell that i really liked.

AJ's goals will be missed, but so will his half-hearted Houdini acts and nights on the lash.

I think Rodwell will be much better than Nige eventually but I really will miss Nige.

Spot on Wooders. Sinclair was the best player on a weak sqaud (well let's not look at the first two rounds as the real Swansea) I too think he will surprise on a squad like ours. Agrre on Rodwell's upside.
