Ripped apart from the scenes?
Van der Vaart gone now to Hamburg, Moutinho in for 22 million (yikes).
Modric gone plus others, mid table this year.

Huh? Apart from Modric they've had a great offseason. Van der Vaart and his efforst, or regular lack thereof, won't be missed.
Adebayor, Vertonghen, Sigurdsson and Dembele all in so far and the Moutinho deal is not dead yet.

Dembele is the one that puts them in the plus column for me.

Van der Vaart is a bit overrated. Swapping him for a younger, more determined Sigurdsson essentially was a good deal.
Modric is a loss, but if they get Moutinho, they'll have replaced him with two quality players for some much needed depth in midfield. Dembele is a cracking player.
Lloris is an upgrade in goal, Vertonghen in defence (potentially).
Made some money on deadwood. Bassong, Corluka, Kranjcar, Pienaar, Giovani dos Santos all out.
Could be a good overhaul tbh.

Maybe i was reading to much into it or didn't know all the details.
The question really is after the fallout from Chelsea is, will they all work for villa boas?
Everyone hated him at Chelsea being the big time charlies they are.

I've no issues with the replacements just with the manager.
If you gave Harry these players, fuck me we would be in world's of trouble, AVB though.... jury is out.
