I know preview thread is there but one that's preview, second it's got 4 stars on one side and 3 on the other, which was bugging the hell out of me ...

-------
Stoke City v Manchester City
Saturday 15 September 2012 : 3:00pm Kick Off
Britannia Stadium

Lineup Prediction:

Hart
Maicon - Kompany - Nasti - Zaba
Rodwell - Yaya
Silva - Tevez - Nasri
Dzeko

Aguero, Sinclair and Garcia to come on as subs.

Score Prediction: Stoke 1 (or 2) - City 3

Whatever happens, City plays 4 times in 11 days starting tomorrow so we'd surely be seeing a lot of shuffling of players and probably even the shape/system over these games ... but what a mouthwatering appetiser before Real Madrid away!

I like that line up....Lescott has to be dropped due top his shite showing of late......I just feel that whenever Aguero is fit Mancini will play him regardless of Dzekos goals of late...

Whatever he says in his pressers, he definitely has an eye on the Real Madrid game ... so given Aguero just coming back from injury, he won't start him or give him an hour on the pitch, but he'll probably use him towards the later parts of the game just to get him some game time before the big one. I have put starting with Dzeko given his form plus Balo also coming back off an eye surgery ... but knowing how Mancini always give Balo a little preferential treatment over Dzeko, I won't be surprised if he gets a nod ahead of the big man again.

I actually think he'll surprise us all tomorrow by either 3 at the back and Javi Garcia in front of them or probably slotting in Scott Sinclair in the midfield and starting Tevez alone up front. Whether he does it tomorrow (today actually, already past midnight) or some other smaller game, I am certain he'll try these two options at some point soon.

And what is the optimum time frame for such in your opinion? With ref's start whistle perhaps??

I actually hope we play 352 today for a few reasons.

1. Plan A never works at the Brittania.
2. The extra width might make it harder for them to mark out our attackers.
3. 3 centre halves to deal with their long shite.

First you blame the other thread about its number of stars and then you get this one wrong. 3 stars each side is the official amount of stars in match day threads in mancityfans.net
;o)

I got a bad feeling about tonight. I'll probably go and get a bottle of whisky. just in case.
