We can't even buy one this season no matter how many great saves Joe makes.

Mancini blames the lack of cohesion in our team (and defense in particular) on not having long enough to work together in pre-season.
Whilst this is probably partly true, I think the sale of De Jong and the constant changing of tactics and personnel are more to blame.

Looks like the only place we will get a clean sheet is from the washing machine......

Exactly Kevin
Making our transfer moves late and then throwing Maicon and Garcia in at the deep end isnt looking very helpful at the moment either.
We won the lague last season by playing a settled team and tactics for the last 6 games and not relying on hot and cold players like Balotelli, Dzeko, Johnson, and Kolorov.
The blame for our slow start to the season lies in between circumstance and the manager for me.

We got back into the title race when he was bench Palus.
His best role is supersub, QPR and the Bernabau

No response , nothing , i would think so , hot and cold players like Silva is playing like last year and bunch of them not just Silva . they all can be hot and cold. And in MOTM u see the problem not in Silva u spend 100 balls today that tells a lot abaut where u stand if u dont like players some of them be open and say so

Christ Paulus get over it.... Dzeko is a hot and cold player, fact! Or at least while he's been at City. It's not a criticism of him per se, but surely you can see that. Currently he is on form and in a hot patch, but he's equally as likely to have a crap game next time out. You don't need to get so defensive when someone makes a perfectly valid point. Other players are playing poorly at the moment granted and some of them aren't getting the same level of stick as others would do. But don't jump down people's throats as soon as someone makes a balanced judgement of dzeko. Cracking player, a bit streaky, but doing well at the moment. MOTM for me today.

Silva is shit from start of season so is Vinny so is Lescot is that hot and cold and valid point i m defensiv only when he play good game and sombody is not pleasd ,we need to bench him ,why the fuck we need to do that ,i m sure if he did not go out today we would win the fuckin game .So get a fuck out of my neck with that boring story over and over again he score 3 goals he play good and he still isint good enough for u well fuck it who are u to to say who is hot and who is cold.

I'm not slagging him off, cool your jets fella. He's a good player I like him and think that given a run of games he'll score a load of goals. Today he was good, in fact all season he's been looking good
But look at last season, one game he'd be brilliant, and the next he'd be dog turd..... Don't take it Personally that's just the way he has been at city. Lescott and kompany were consistently good last season perhaps with the odd unfortunate error. I agree that silva has been poor all season, but he was one of our best players consistently last season.
He hasn't scored 37 goals in a season for city so I think that's a moot point. Today I think he should have stayed on the pitch, and silva should have gone off instead.
But even you as a big fan of him can see that for all the games he plays well there is another game where he has a touch that is shocking and can't hit a barn door with a banjo. That's just the type of player he is, he's a confidence player, the standing ovation he got today would give him confidence, I just hope Mancini keeps faith in him next game.
You are right that other players have been playing badly but haven't had the same level o stick.
People have made valid points about dzeko in this thread, I know e gets a lot of stick on here some justified and some not, but please don't get defensive and stroppy for people saying he's hot and cold.... Since at city he has been hot an cold, this season may be the one that changes that.... Who knows.

But last season he have good opening and thn was bench infact i m anoyed with this rotation , its good but not so much if player plays well leave him and when he had bad spell then bring sub , only player who play whole season is Aguero so normaly he will have best form but look today Aguero without games and Edin with more play time then him , clearly Edin was better , so Manchini dont give Edin chance to be wath he is a killer , Today even Ted say it was best game Edin play for City well parth from one with Totenhem , and there is no cold and hot player because this guy Edin can score and play all season good when he is on form and when he is alowed to, but Today Bob sub saying that in City he will never be in first eleven no mather how he plays so he shuld go , this guy in Wolfsburg score 79 goals in two season so dont call him hot and cold player its stupid , look Silva today after Wizard from last season he is average to shit this one , so it s all in how is player feeling is it on form and now Edin and Yaya are in best form in team and i read from grob that he should be bench , WHY FFS.And u know hy he did not score 37 for City becoause he never get prper service like in Wolfsburg .In 10 times Silva will 9 times pass to Aguero , there is no fuckin guy who can cross in whole team and even in that team he score 18 only 5 players in Premiere who play most of the matc are better then him so hot and cold story is shit, some people dont like because he dont look like Ronaldo when hes playing but give him proper delivery he will score

the commentators said something today about how we haven't had the same back 4 in any of our games yet. That's definitely part of the problem, and it has to be blamed on Mancini.
Also, we only used a back 3 in all of pre season, so it's no wonder that when we suddenly start using a back 4 again it looks a little shaky. Again, this is down to Mancini.

Its not worth debating Dzeko with you
You love him
I'm not keen
Let's move on, what do you think about Kolarov?

Kolarov , he is good player but in front like a winger hes piss poor at defence and sometimes make a one move to many, but he have best cross in whole team, abaut Dzeko yes i love him but all that i was saying is true u van call somwone who hold many records like best scorer in Wolfsburg ever , best duo him and grafite in Germany ever , best scorer in National team ,hot and cold u can call him only not well used , because he score goals ewrywhere and that cant do hot and cold players only the best strikers can brake so much records but u can think wath u wont i know when he leaves and he will u will see who is he in club where he will play importen role.
