taking off dzeko instead of aguero, bringing on rodwell instead of barry and bringing on nastasic to shore the defence up.

rant over, a points a point bad day at the office.

Aguero and tevez have a better partnership than tevez and dzeko - so it's understandable
can't disagree with the barry shout

Dzeko was playing fine so should have been left on. Aguero was never going to finish the 90 after 4 weeks out so Tevez for Aguero was the move he should have made. Rodwell on for Sinclair was acceptable because in the first half Arsenal's three in central midfield were running over our two so he fixed that. Silva should have been off, possibly for Barry just to tighten up as the game went on.
Silva is terrible at the moment and definitely not worth a starting place although he is always capable of something special. Wish he could strike a ball with a bit of dig instead of just stroking it about.
The players have started the season poorly but so too has Mancini who needs to sort out his system and best XI and then stick as close to it as he can for a few months.

I hate to say it but if I was a City player, this year I would be starting to question Bobs tactics. Early days I know, but somethings not right. Where is the City from last year???

The Dzeko substitution was a disgrace. he was having a great game. He must be getting really fucked off now.

We need to go back to 4-5-1/4-3-3 desperately...not this loose 4-4-2 thing that we've been doing.

What, you wouldn't blame Marwood?

Starting a winger v a midfield dominating team when our midfield has struggled. Taking off Dzeko. It also seems that Silva these days often has a tactical job to do, often out wide looking after an area, at least for periods of games, rather than being allowed to roam around freely like he used to. This is bad, even if it's only for half an hour. Silva needs helping back to top form, not restricting.

The Dzeko decision was a shocker. No change was needed at the time but if anyone went, the last player to be taken off was surely Dzeko.

Bob is having an absolute stinker of a start to the season, from the 3 at the back fiasco at Anfield to today & it also seems like the players are tense, not all following his instructions & not enjoying their football .

We need to get back as close as possible to what is familiar to the players & stop fucking about or the points gap will increase & render our title challenge incredibly difficult or even pretty much dead, bar a rags slump.

We need to play the next game like a cup final.

This

I have a really weird scenario in my head, but are we that sure that he signed a new contract? Yes it was all that, but no picture, no OS interview, nothing. Then we had this weird summer spree, where Bobby asked for players and the board refused that. Yes, the FFP rule is a major domino piece in the problem, but it looked very odd if you ask me. It was like :
Bobby : Give me some players. I need them
The Board : Why bother? You will leave next summer.
Bobby: I will leave now if you don't bring me anything and you won't have a replacement.

and so on.

And beside that, look at our players. They look tired, unhappy, frustrated. No one smiles, not one is happy, no jokes, nothing. Last year they were buzzing. Just look at Vinnie ffs, he became shite and is so unhappy that you can sense that from a mile away.

All the work from last year looks like it has gone to pieces.

This second statement rings a bell as that is what I was thinking yesterday 100% there's no commitment they don't really look like they wanna perform, maybe cause they no something we don't? Mancini is going I dunno but I'm sure nothing was shown off him signing a new deal ever? Makes u wonder what's happening behind the scenes really.

I don't think this other stuff comes into it tbh.

I think Bob was more concerned about the next phase of the team's development & 'moving forward' signing new players & improving etc, that he has neglected to sure up the position we already had.

We need to get back to working on what we were good at rather than try to rush into something more advanced.

If you look at the 1st half chance fucked up by Gervinho, there are seven City players ahead of the 'D' at the halfway line with 3 Arsenal players goal side of them. W have no central holding midfield player to cut out any pass to any of them. We lose the ball & immediately Arsenal have 3 v 3 & should have scored. Before Arsenal's flukey equaliser, the shot from Cazorla is directly central outside the 'D' of our box. There should be players stood in both these areas, making this impossible.

Before u would think abaut one maybe two changes and only for rotation now u dont know who will go out next game ad how we will play , dosent mather who play how its just on Bob whimp its like hes looking and traying for wright tactics and first eleven but do not wanna give up rotation .Litlle to late for that now and new players i really can belive with witch speed he try to bring them on , three four new players in team it can be good ,those things go slow but Bob is like litlle kid with new toys . Dont wanna comment the subs, but i will comment wtf is with Silva, Kompany and from what i saw from new guys wow i hope i really do that this was just a period dream , Sincler absolute zero , nothing guy just run with ball and from what i see he manege to cross one and lose four or five,Garcia i dont know what is hes quality , ok he can jump but hes nowhere in the game ,Nastasic will be good but i was on impression that we need player who can be great now and sorry but he can be on level that we need now,Rodwell is only good buy i can see for now .I do not know wath to think any more , it can be that whole team drop to shit with no reason ,Last year in worst games we did not look this strange and its all on force no fluid game , omly Yaya is playing like he play before.Bob really need to win in Fulham and win like Champion, because we are droping down and after one point there is no come back.
