Man Of The Match

2 choices today as I found it difficult to choose. They all seemed to have decent games and we came back from some very dubious decisions to get 3 points away from home.
Looks like we are back on track, points wise, from last season.

From what I could see on a pretty shit stream, Silva was head and shoulders above the rest today.

Great to watch on the telly here.
A difficult choice this week for all the right reasons. Everyone played their part. It was the best we have played for some time given the considerable handicap of a biased cunt with a whistle.
I am going to have to have a think about it.

Zabs just ahead of Silva for me - he was a demon today, showing the defenders how to do it, and the attacking players how to do it too. I hope Maicon doesn't screw up his playing time because we have someone here who is getting better and better.

Silva for me. And I hope this is just the beginning, since he can do much much more.

I'm locked between Silva, Barry, Tevez and Dzeko. The first 3 worked their socks off and it was telling that we started to play well with these 3 back on the pitch/playing well. Edin just gets me everytime and that turn and shoot ensemble was just sublime.
It doesn't matter if you are on for 10 or 90 minutes but in the end I went for Big Dave and Carlos, they ruled the pitch

Not at all. Even at 0-1 down I was extremely happy with the way we were playing. I said to my old man on Skype that if we kept it up, the goals would come. I can't really fault any of the players today and perhaps picking one out as better than the rest would be unfair.

Interesting that Zaba should be under consideration as he did indeed give the goal away (not just the pen but he was nutmegged as well) and also could have given another penalty away. My stream wasnt that good so I am not that clear on all the rest of his game.I could see enough to know his effort getting forward was superb but maybe not enough to know whether his end product was good quality or just average hopeful. I reckon he gets a nomination at times for being a true warrior with never less than 100%.
I liked Silva being back and closer to what we know he can be so he gets it for me.
