I used to laugh at the rags for selling manchester united mortgages alongside manchester united credit cards, and endorsing dog food amongst others, but on a corporate level, we are catching up with them. I know FFP rules mean we have to widen our revenue sources, and I know Hugo Boss is hardly Pedigree chum, but I'm still not entirely comfortable with it. What is the consensus? Are we in any danger of selling our soul to keep a smile on twatini's face?

Its not the fact the rags are sponsered by DHL or Daz ultra that makes them a vile festering conglomerate of shit, its thee fact that their supporters are moronic filth sucking fucking scum. As Carl said its the fans that make a club and we're ace.

Any extra money that can be brought in without increasing ticket prices is good for me. Most of the top F1 teams use Hugo Boss for the their team wear. Very expensive but very classy

On a completely unrelated note....I've spent the day in Abu Dhabi today and seen what one of our sponsors (Aabar) actually do...they are a construction group it seems. I've never spent much time exploring AD and I have to say that it is a MUCH nicer place to spend some time than Dubai....although i was wondering how the Philipino economy is functioning as the entire population seem to be working here.
Checked out the City Store in the Marina Mall....odd location, hidden away round a corner and only little but still good to see it.
Some impressive stuff here in general....now will have to make sure that I don't repeat this morning's missed flight balls-up tomorrow. Credit to Etihad though as they rebooked me for free despite the fact that it was entirely my fault and was a no show

I don't read about any critisism of our owner for his stake in Mercedes Benz, or for example the Ford motor company for it's behind the scenes activities during WW2. Not that it matters anyway. There must be any number of established companies and organisations that regret things that happened a long time ago. Not just in wartime Germany.
