What a performance tonight it deserves a thread of its own.If we scrap our way out of this group his heroics tonight will have played a massive part.Luckily for us when our defence has gone missing both against Madrid and Dortmund he has played out of his skin.Without him the scorelines could have been very embarassing. He deserves a lot of credit for the way he has played. He also deserves a clean sheet if only the defence would help him out.

Back to his best after a poor start to the season in my opinion.

He is world class when hes on form isn't he?

I don't think he has been that bad himself.I think the defence have an awful lot to answer for.I really hope he gets a clean sheet. If anyone deserves one......

This.

His distribution is fucking awful at times but he's the best person in the world at stopping other teams from scoring & that's his job.

He was fantastic tonight Joe, great keeper.
Big plus goes to Dzeko too, i thought he played well tonight even though the service was appalling.
Btw i really think Toure is looking burn't out?
When was the last time Toure missed a game for city.

Not awful, but he did have a few games there where everything on target went in.

Not his usual lofty standards, but he's back so I'm happy.

I was dissapointed with him at start of season but he can only save if shots are made. In games the opposition only had 2 shots on goal and scored twice now he is being tested more his class is showing

I'm not sure that statement flatters him to be honest mate.

Cant think of anybody scoring through his legs lately which has pleased me.I thought it was a bit of a weakness before that he has overcome.

I am very glad about his performance started from the game in Madrid. He had a slow start and a bad ending (the QPR game) and i was a bit worried, but Joey looked stellar last night.

Good to have him back.

Only for him the two champions league matches would have been utter humiliation, the one and only good thing from last night.
