It has been months since my last post as I have had one or two issues that have kept me off the computer but hopefully I am back and I hope to make a regular and positive contribution.

we need Doomy to do one of his trademark "what's happened on the board since last time".
In short:

carl's declared an end to Joleon's career and is leaving the fast life for a Dominican beach
there are two occassionally available tickets from our International brethren (applications in writing to John68). Charitable donation required
You missed Mancio's UK tour and he had some baggage problems
Jimmy Saville's been "at it" and Chinners knew all along
Bobby is a "tinker man" running out of runway. allegedly
Bingo's doing what Bingo does and we all hope to see him in the Townley soon
Douglas is on his way to Wonderland and we need someone to go to Carrington for us while he's gone (that is what you said isn't it DH?)
And the conspiracy goes on

Welcome back

No in a nutshell my grandaughter who is under 2 months old somehow caught encaphalitis ( a meningitis type of thing ) but she is ok now and both of my dogs died 5 months apart ( one was 13 years old and the other 15) apart from that all is fine.

good old crossan - he knows how to lift the spirits !

Seriously though mate - great news about your grandaughter being ok and so sorry to hear about your dogs although I bet they both had a fantastic life with you - as a lifelong "dogger" (steady lads) I know how hard it can be when they go to chase sticks upstairs, to lose both so quickly must have been tough

Great to have You back, Mate.
Humour and competence been seriously missed: not aware of but genuinely hope issues are all and well sorted.

No more sabbatical, please... ;)

off topics: @ Alex: Pal, who required charity donations: insofar I am aware only requirement is Sir John's placet? Hope no Thai "institution" has to be fed yet again... ;)

Thanks for the welcome back posts, hopefully I will contribute when I can.Unfortunately my love of football has deminished recently due to circumstances but City are still my club and always will be,I have other sporting loves ie: cricket,Rugby league and Union that sometimes take precenence over the over hyped game of football.most players are alien to me by theie actions on and off the pitch.Yes I am getting on a bit now ( I will be 60 next month) and the game is not the one I grew up with but I would like to see City maintain their recent success.
