Gutted if this rules him out, the lad has just got his Mojo back.
Manchester City are waiting to learn the extent of an injury suffered by David Silva during the early stages of Spain's 1-1 draw against France.
Silva was replaced after just 10 minutes of Tuesday's 2014 World Cup qualifier after pulling up with a muscle injury in his right leg.
He was replaced by Santi Cazorla and reports in Spain suggest that playmaker Silva is facing at least two weeks on the sidelines.
The World Cup holders also lost Alvaro Arbeloa to a muscle problem early in the second half and Spain coach Vicente del Bosque admitted the injuries affected his plans.
"The injuries were an immediate misfortune because it prevented us from managing the changes," Del Bosque said.
"There haven't been any muscular injuries in my four years here and so to have two I am sorry about."
If Silva is ruled out for a fortnight, he would miss City's Premier League games against West Brom and Swansea, plus next week's UEFA Champions League tie away to Ajax.

Why they played him is beyond me.He went off injured in the first international and had to have a scan to get the all clear.
It's not as if the Spanish squad has a lack of quality in depth. They have a number of quality players who could have played instead.
International breaks blow.

Hope it isn't that bad. When he plays well we play well. . . .And win.

On another note, it shows what sort of player we have. Unbelievable.

So the big question is who do we play for the Chumps league instead of him and what formation?

Fixed for you mate.
I know someone (like our owners?) may feel that the Ajax game is more important but I'd much rather take 3points on Saturday and 0 at Ajax than vice versa

Hart - Zab, Richards, Kompany, Clichy - Garcia, Toure - Tevez, Aguero, Nasri - Dzeko.
Easy.

two weeks isn't horrific if that's the case.
You'd pull the shirt on for your country if you had half your dick sliced off in a deli counter accident. FACT.
cheers

Speaking of injuries, Marcelo is apparently out for three months after international duty - which wont hurt our chances when we face Real for the second time next month.

Apparently, Khedira, Di Maria, Higuain, Benzema, and Arbeloa all injured.

Dave is their not really arsed because we have (in their opinion) better players when it matters. So they just mug him off. 2 weeks out and then another 2+ for him to start getting back into his groove, which he hasn't really done yet this season.
Shuts fucking annoying.

It's occasions like this that I wonder and dream of being our General Carl, in order to be able to post all my rage in his typical flamboyant rant mood!
Gutted, pissed, enraged like rarely I've felt since the Herman saga: we were just getting back of true Merlin and these Spanish tossers, DelBosque, the chief MD, the Spanish FA, whoever the hell plotted to start Dave again after the injury picked in the previous game, and after he was deliberatedly NOT RISKED by His OWN CLUB, who pay his fucking wages and have developed his potential also for the benefit of Spain!
Now then... I just hope the "fear of SIX weeks off" reported on MUen are just the usual shit stirring of them.
THE CLUB MUST DO SOMETHING against these insults, I mean.
I am currently hating everething commected with Spain... just saying.

Easy.
Nice attacking formation which in no way Mancini will go for. I would put in Milner instead of Dzeko though. Barry will surely feature. He's had a long good rest.
Not really worried much with Dave's absence (for the WBA match at least !).

I'm sure Barry will be one of the first names on the teamsheet. and Garcia is injured anyway.
4-2-3-1 with
Hart; Zab/Micah, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy; Barry, Milner; Nasri, Yaya, Aguero; Tevez would probably be my choice
