i see nothing has changed with thoses wankers ,isn't the blame mostly the owls fault though?not enough stewards and police for a game where trouble would of been expected?

Shocking from the stewards and the Police. As he makes his way back Into the stands who goes straight past stewards who make no attempt to stop him. He is then seen clearly in the stands which I presume are covered by CCTV and still he isn't grabbed. I bet if he was smoking or standing up instead of sitting down they wouldn't have failed to apprehend him.

The scummer has posted on his fb this morning that kirkland wont press charges. Would have thought that the police would nab him just over entering the field of play if they wanted too.

The fb profile is pretty sickening with some of the messages of support.

Correct, it doesn't need Kirkland to press charges, as the police & the public have seen the incident for themselves. I'm pretty sure this bloke will find himself nicked in the near future.

What annoys me is that it sets football back 5 years, supporters groups look at good track records to not get treated like criminals, or to get safe standing and the opposition can just wheel out videos like these without even having to try.

The game moved on about 20 years ago because fans just grew up and realised you have to know where to draw the line, keep your emotions from running away with you.

If Leeds do not ban him for life, then they deserve all the hate they get.

Its a clear cut ban and nothing else imo.

It's always been a wanker's club - just needs one promotion and some modest success in the top tier and they will be back to being another RAG outfit again. Not that I condone this sort of thing, but their Billy Bremner statue received some attention when Huddersfield played there a few seasons ago.

From what I understand he is already subject to a banning order forbidding him from getting on any transport to Leeds or any town/city they were playing in.
