Derby tickets..........

I've been offered some derby tickets this afternoon, hospitality package, offsite meal at the Vermilion restaurant. Has anyone been there and can comment on it?

Seats are north west stand level 2.

Price is a bit steep but I don't get to go to many games so don't mind shelling out. Kick off is 13.30, can't imagine a 3 course meal that early?!

Any info appreciated, need to make a decision on this sharpish or the tickets will go.

Cheers

Your seats will be in the corner above the 2nd tier, they are top seats under the scoreboard, have used them myself several times and the view is in my opinion one of the best in the ground. Never been vermillion, but its only across the road and looks nice from the outside - always thought it was an indian restaurant though.

If its more than 100 i would tell em to stick it with all due respect. The match tickets are 50 quid face value (they are family stand tickets) which would need a pretty fucking special meal to justify the rest of the cost. But then again, the tickets will be like gold dust so the price is worth it if you wont get tickets through other channels.

A colleague of mine was quoted £250 from the club the other day, and fucked it off - its never, ever worth that sort of money

I've been to Vermilion mate. Its brilliant!
As soon as you go in they take your coat and its up in the lift to the actual restaurant on the first floor (I think the next floor up is a bar).
We got two complementary glasses of champagne and the misses got a rose.
Food was brilliant as well. They let us take some home in a doggie bag :)

Plus you won't get any little scallies or general trouble there because they have security on the door.
