Not to worry. I've heard the MuEN's very own Peter Spencer has been on to stir the pot. Making unsubstantiated claims about disharmony in the camp and claims about what the owner wants that he can't possibly know (as well as insulting Mancini's personality). Hey ho....

I really can't believe that of Mr Spencer, he's not bias at all apparently ..

You're right, of course. I was forgetting myself. Spencer jumped to our defence saying the stories were bullshit and he's fed up with the media trying to destabilise the club. He also didn't mention the Govan piss-can once.

Decide for yourself , didnt sound that anti city to me just gives his opinions . The fact I think hes wrong on most of them doesnt mean he has an agenda .

I will claim for the manager's head if he cannot get them fully committed to the cause, comes may.
the next incumbent, MUST be a character able to let them jump and roll whenever he'll be asking for, althought.
failing that City won't ever get top.

Cant disagree that he gave his opinions but boy did there seem to be an anti City stirring agenda. But then of course I would say that wouldn't I as a City fan.

He asked if their was substance to today's headlines and he sort of avoided a direct yes/no but he did say some are kicking off which was totally unnecessary and using inflammatory words.

He said he just lets his coaches just get on with it! Really! day after day I see Mancini doing all the coaching himself and the only time he "watches on" is when there is no actual coaching involved.

He said Mancini doesn't like the way players conduct themselves. Whilst he might have been disappointed when Joe Hart and Micah said what they did immediately after a game when majorly disappointed.Did he really have to say that and maybe infer that he is referring to all the squad and not just a couple of players in a couple of isolated instances?

He seems standofffish when I met him on a couple of occasions. Just not necessary except to add fuel to the press induced fire.

Doesn't know what his best team is! Does he really believe this or again is he just stirring?

Very much on the back foot and under pressure. I guess that's true but it could be downplayed,as it would be by a City man, rather than emphasised by a reporter.

I do hope we hear from Stuart re what he thought of the interview. Maybe it is just me but I would have expected that interview to be with a Daily Fail reporter rather than one from MueN

Not sure what you mean by this Douglas , but as a fellow city fan it just struck me as poor journalism , no real insight , misinformed .

He stayed away from the most sensationalist crap ie full blown mutiny , resorted to clichés foreign manager aloof style etc as though all english managers are best mates with their players rather than a boss . It didnt really annoy me or strike me as agenda driven , just poorly informed , which is disappointing but not really surprising when so much of today's sport journalism reads like an edition of heat magazine . as for the daily fail reference it probably would of been a more interesting interview if it had of been with Martin Samuel , god knows why he works for that rag though .

If it wasn't agenda driven it sure sounded like it and it always does with Spencer.

Just wandered onto talk nonsense - apparently the Manchester derby isn't a big one as the competitiveness is manufactured by our money. The Liverpool one is bigger.

No idea what they said after that as I swore at the radio and turned over.

Just fishing for callers as usual.

I caught the tail-end of the interview (I think) and I did find it quite strange that he said we should be getting loads of goals this weekend with Swansea being the perfect game. Forgive me if I'm being a little naive here but to me it sounded like he was setting the tone for the weekend, ie. If it's not 5-0 then it'll be a bad weekend.

Everytime I hear him speak he seems to be sneering and sniping, almost angry just to be mentioning our name. Nothing changed today.

Stopped listening to Talkshite at the end of last season, once I'd heard them eat shit for a few weeks after our title win. No intention of ever listening to another second again unless it is to hear a genuine exclusive story. Without hearing it myself, it seems from the descriptions that Spencer has just done EXACTLY what I was describing to Stuart Brennan, ie; fanning the flames of counter productive media speculation, with a nod & wink, as if he knows something. If a similar story comes out of OT, he will appear extolling the virtues of Sir Alex & telling the world how he has everything under control, experience, blah, blah, blah.

Rag licking twat.
