I must admit every time I've seen them play they have played really well but just can't score enough goals.
12th though what are the odds of them going down?
Can't see it tbh but theve been struggling alot last few seasons.

No chance and they won a trophy last season. With the help of Phil Dowd.
I can't stand them at all and they are maybe top ten material. Maybe. Suarez is hateful but pretty bloody good.

I found it quite amusing today when Quinny (I think) said that he felt sorry for Rogers because of his lack of striking options.

They're a poacher away from Top 6. For anything above, they'll need more than that. A lean bench & a bunch o kids won't cut it, as talented as they may be.

That's the problem with today's game, buy, buy, buy.
Never give the youth a chance, a couple of them young players look good i thought.
But they definitely need some forwards, Swarez although a horrible cunt is a very good player.

I think this year definitely could be their year. They could even finish inside the top 10 (just behind Arsenal).

One game could see them in 9th or 17th.

Some of their play has in fact been a pleasure to watch, but insufficient end product combined with poor form for Reina suggests to me that they will be in that group of teams that are top half but some distance off fifth.
A lengthy Europa campaign is not helpful if they're squad is patchy.
However, if Rodgers does obtain Walcott in the window, they might start winning the kind of games they are presently drawing.
The chance of their being relegated is miniscule

That's their problem ATM, playing well but can win. Need to starting turning the performances into points

It all went wrong after Hicks & Gillette. That team Benitez had was pretty decent. Even Torres was quite good in those days.
How the mighty are fallen.

I firmly believe that Liverpool were dropped like a sticky shit pudding after the financial issues came out.

I have to give credit to Rodgers though, he's been very brave with the selections he has made.
I think it will turn into a good move for him.
Not many managers pick the type of players he has.

I'd say playing Downing, Henderson, Cole & Carragher would be braver. It's easy to give the youngsters a run, if the alternative is that.
No offence to the guy & his plans, but so far he's not really worked miracles or even overachieved in the slightest.
manager ppg win%
Rodgers 1.58 42.11
Dalglish 1.68 47.30
Hodgson 1.52 41.94
And if you ask me the way they play hasn't really changed considerably under him. I suppose not forking out 100m for utter dross is an improvement over the last bloke, I'll give him that.

They're going to overplay Sterling and turn him into a sicknote by the time he is 25. A talented young lad like that should not have to play two first-team matches a week.

Hell be the next Walcott, Lennon etc well before then.

My point entirely, Lee.
