Sign of the Times

For years our cousins from the swamp have been refered to as plain "Un***d", as though they were the only one, mightily pissing off fans of Leeds, Newcastle and, for all I know, Colchester.

Recently, on blogs message boards and all the rest, every time someone says "City" they mean us and only us.

Next, if anyone calls a club "Manchester" they'll mean us and only us.

Things are changing

Now as fast as I'd love, overseas I mean.
Here on Mafia Land, commentary are still going to use "the Manchester" appellative only on reference to the Munichs. something that REALLY pissed me off and keeps pissing me off, big time!

Apart for this little remark from overseas, it a great post, on which a totally agree, bar struggling to see them as our cousins. there were I actually come closer to a racist.

It used to be like that here in Holland as well, but know the Dutch commentators use Manchester only for both us and the rags. Unless we play each other of course.
