I disagree with old baconface but of course my rag mates can't see fault with this.

Where is the best place for passing stats in the league and europe? I think someone on here posted one a while ago that had yaya up there with xavi?

Anyway, I think there's at least ten better passers of the ball at this stage. Thoughts?

In his world. He knows we have probably the 2 best passers in the league and this is him psychologically destroying our players, taking away all their confidence. Leaving us with a bunch of quaking shithouses come derby day.

Or in the world of the sober person. He is a drunk mong mumbling complete shit to strangers at a bus stop hoping they will get a fucking shot on target this time around. You can't blame him for hitting the drink harder than usual when he has to make that trip to fortress etihad soon. The poor old fucker, I almost feel sorry for him.

In the world of the media, whatever the stats say, Scholes is now most definitely the best passer of a ball in the league, in fact possibly of all time, apart from Duncan Edwards, (Steve Curry saw edwards play you know & this lad Jones is the nearest thing he's seen)

etc.

I have several rag mates saying he can still pass as good as ever.. I'm asking them what part of his game is gone that is affecting him when he never had speed or tackling to begin with?

Based on the last game I saw that must include passes that set attacks up for the opposition team!

Couldn't give a toss anyway as these stats reflect the way a team plays sideways and backwards just to retain the ball. The passing I am interested in is the forward attacking passing which cuts through teams, stretches them and creates goalscoring chances.

But that stat is meaningless, even if it were to our advantage. I mean Britton had better passing stats than xavi for a while last season but if I could choose a player to have in our team I'd take xavi any day.

A stat is only good if it helps you see anything you wouldn't see otherwise. Anyone who watches Swansea play know they fuck about in midfield for long swathes of time. That stat sort of confirms it.

Key passes, interceptions, key interceptions, assists, crosses, fast runs. That's the type of stat I'd be looking at if I'd want to create some sort of picture of scholes's quality. Also; ability to keep the ball in the offensive third. That's a key stat imo and is one of the reasons why nasri was so coveted by

But I don't know where to find em.

Interesting that there's only one ManUre player in that top 20 list and his passing is nothing to shout home about.

You can label the little twat with a few things but you cant say he isnt a top class passer. He hits crossfield 50 yd passes for fun. I dont like the turd but his passing game is superb and is the reason why baconchops brought him out of his retirement home.
