Balo to PSG?

Reports circulating again that Paris St-Germain are ready to offer £40million for Mario Balotelli in January.

Also reporting that Chelsea are now favourites for signing Falcao, because we have pulled out of that race?

Is Mancini crazy? I don't care so much for Falcao right now as I think he'll be a gamble at best in PL, but sell Balo and take the £40m if that's on offer ...

Let's hope so. It's about time city got decent money for their players, rather than paying over inflated prices for players.

Yeah Man.
The manager STATING we won't sell nor buy in January, is not fact enough in comparison to a Daily Fail / Sun fact.
Some people will never learn.
Also amazed by the rising and almost levelled figures of all these made-up quotations: Suarez, Falcao, now Mario, all on the same thereabouts dosh. entertaining, isn't it?

From what I've seenof Falcao, he would be a much much bigger asset to the club than Mario at this moment in time but without Champions League football, impossible to really justify the fee this season.

I imagine any deals regarding him signing anywhere will happen next season anyway though.

I think Mario's girlfriend will force him back to Italy once the kid arrives & some fucker like AC Milan will get him cheap.

In a heartbeat.

Love the guy, but he's a long way off being a 40m striker. He's well and truly outgrowing the potential part of his career without going to the next level yet.

That's a non sequitur, raggy.

Agree. Also, 90% of the things he is notorious for haven't been done in a City shirt, whereas he's spent what is getting close to half his professional career here.

Two other things:

i) There aren't many clubs from whom we can make a profit on our players, maybe 2 or 3 in UEFA, if not the world (other continents tend to attract players through wages, and therefore tend to wait of their contracts to run down/expire). If such a chance arises, and the player isn't a vital member of the team, we should take it.

ii) Providing he recovers from injury and finds form, Guidetti will be too old to feature on the 'B' List for Champions' League squad pretty soon, meaning he'll either want to be getting game time under his belt, or getting out. I can't imagine us getting anywhere near even £7 million for him (3-4 being most likely, in my opinion), which begs the question: Is Balotelli a luxury we can (indefinitely) afford to keep?

when a Club will ACTUALLY knock at City door with £ 40 m_i_l_l_i_o_n_s cash in mouth, just give a ring, I'll pronto appear and take him wherever, on my own shoulders.
Since then, just let me, politely and friendly, have a laugh. and stick with Club's Officials Statements from official press conferences.

This is obviously bullshit, but a total no-brainer if true. The lad isn't worth half of that.

But then again, which player is? There's only a few players that can't be replaced for 40 million euro.

Imo it would be.. perhaps not stupid but unnecessary to sell him this season when he's finally showing signs of developing into a team player that will be beneficial to us. He's less and less looking a walking red card as well as a burden for the rest of the team when on the defensive. A lot of of young offensive players have seasons when they score a lot less than previous seasons because they are concentrating on other aspects of their game. IMO this is such season for Balotelli. He's not the super sub that Dzeko is but he sure is a better team players and gives us another dimension when he comes on.

Can't see Balotelli going anywhere other than Italy. He'd be happier there and he'd probably become the player we all hoped he'd become for us. Can't see Mancini allowing him to go in January, either.

i dont think balo is anywhere near worth 40mil, hes done nothing whatsoever this season, in the starts hes had hes been poor, i would get rid loose canon and will not improve the longer hes here, also the team look better when hes not even on the bench.
