According to Bosnian and Croatian media Mansour Bin Zayed is going to Zagreb (Croatia) to make a personal bid for him. Alen Halilovic is 16 years old (1996). Bosnian and Croatian national teams are fighting for this youngster, as he can play for both countries due to the fact that he is born Bosnian who grew up in Croatia. His father also played for Bosnia. The 16 year old is a real talent. Possibly one of the best young players in Europe.
These are his qualities:

I'm just stating what is said in the media. I know that it doesn't make sense though.

Thanks for letting us know. It would be very strange for the Sheikh to go there personally though, with the staff we've just appointed.

The Sheikh barely gets to come to Eastlands let alone the Balkans chasing a teenager

Hate it when people put daft music over a YT video.
When someone puts it over a kid running about in a park it's just fucking weird.

Yea. perhaps I've been a tad unnecessarily unpleasant towards Your desire to share your national pride.
It's just that we are so proud of our non-Itk-ness.
You even got a scholarly reminder of what can happen when Royals stroll about the Balcans.
Trust us, if our beloved Owner had more time to spare, He would have offered Himself the Joy to witness the Title, instead.
sorry, anyhow... ;)

Can't believe Sheikh has gone to visit the player himself. Looks good on the videos, but what standard is he playing at? Very much like Silva, but this kid can finish!

No chance HRH has gone there but some of the stuff that lad is doing shows talent which is out of the ordinary, at whatever level. Great as Silva is, he can't actually do some of that shit now never mind when he was 16.
That lad looks closer to Gio level.
He could have the same non career as Gio for all we know, but if you see a lad with that kind of ability & you have the chance to sign him, you do so & worry about the rest later.
I recon he'd be in the 1st team squad by next season.

For the sake of this board, I hope he opts for the Croatian national team.

i think it would be better if we continue having Palus over after Džeko does what he needs to do, and that is to leave, than having some not as good poster from Croatia.
