David Beckham, Anyone?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

David Beckham, Anyone?

Postby Beefymcfc » Tue Nov 20, 2012 9:03 am

Looks like his great days in the US have come to an end. What a signing he would be, one of the greatest players in the game who single-handedly won England a place in the Euros.

Come on Sheikhy, get him signed.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Apparently he wants a "last new challenge" - QPR would suit this ponce quite nicely. Either them or Scunthorpe.

We could all send in suggestions for what what Beckham's last challenge should be.

I suggest a charity climb of the Eiger's north face, in his England kit. Ray Wilkins & Jamie Redknapp could go along, dressed as muppets, & roped together. His wife could parachute in to meet him at the top & then together they could all ski back down.

His last new challenge should be to feck off into obscurity. The extra mandatory clause being that Dog Spice agrees to the same

He should give something back to the sport & help change things for the better, like opening an all female 'soccer' school in Afghanistan for instance.

Genuinely worried. If the rags get him alongside POTY Giggs & Best Passer of All Time Scholes, they'll be unstoppable.

Luzl!
as long as he stays off the Blue, I'd be amused if Munichs Geriatrics increases capacity.

How good will it be if he gets back in the Prem? All those interviews, adverts and media write-ups with him druelling all over Ferguson. He might even get a slot of my favouritist of all programmes, Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. He is a 'Celebrity' afterall.

Yum, yum, I just can't wait. Getting all giddy with just the thought.

I fear for Match of the Day next season! Owen & Beckham together!

Or Worse; Sky Sports with Jamie Redknapp or....he and Chuckle Brother 1!

Please go to Australia! Where MLS's gain is their loss!

I remember him saying he would never join City... we should offer him a shitload and then when he gets the "contract" passed on to him it just says "WUMMED, YOU DIRTY FUCKING RAG!" on the first page. And all of this should of course be shown live on MCFC's website
so now as every enemy circles our city

If he wants one last new challenge why doesn't he branch out into modelling lady's underwear?
