I seem to remember a certain penalty was given against us where there was no penalty in sight. I could be wrong though, the MotD were too busy slating our away shirt.

Makes sense, he lives in Bolton, just has to get the bus up the road. You don't want people traveling far on a wet Wednesday night in Wigan.

I was going to put a few stats up but looking back, I'm not sure I should.

Since Wembley, he's not been particularly kind to us, to be honest....

Halsey's a good bloke, based on the hour I spent with him. Maybe I'd think the same of you, Ashton, if I ever met you, but the unpleasantness of your posts makes it unlikely.

So Halsey' recent ineptitude has a real opportunity to influence the league however he sees fit.

Even through genuine mistakes, it seems bloody stupid to have the same ref overseeing the 2 top sides/rivals one after the other. There were plenty of other choices to avoid the conspiracy scenarios.

Hopefully we play well enough to make the conspiracy go our way, anything else and he'll get it.... ;-)

I will. Isn't Halsey the one who had cancer?
Are there any refs anyone anwhere actually likes? once they're retired, or dead, doesn't count.
Pretty sure for most fans most refs have given shitty decisions against them at least once. cunts forever. impossible job.
video aid please.

That bald geezer from a few years ago became almost a celebrity - can't remember his name now (foreign fella who ref'ed world cup finals etc.) Pretty sure he's retired now though, so that doesn't count. I always remember his pointy skull.

I have a confirmation from the owner that LOF will not be on for tonight's games, so plan ahead for alternatives.
Roberto Mancini was the man who brought us our first trophy in 35 years. He was the man that brought us our first league title in 44 years. He brought us one of the greatest moments of our lives. He masterminded a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, and a Wembley win over United. He challenged Ferguson, he argued with him on the touchline, he brought success, and he punched the air in delight with the rest of us at the madness of it all. He had style, panache and a winning smile. All those memories he gave us will never be forgotten, in a wonderful period in this club’s long history.
And I swear, we’ll never see anything like it again.
