Such a bulb isn't he?!

Hahaha that's funny!!

I remember doing the same though when I was sent on the French Exchange as a kid.

I think it was to help them understand the English more...I dunno...I'm talking shit.

That was more cringeworthy than an episode of I'm Alan Partridge. Hilarious! What a complete bellend!

He obviously realises his football career is going nowhere, so the only way he can keep his name in the papers is to do this stuff. otherwise everyone would have forgotten about him years ago......Sounds like a perfect job candidate for Talk Shite breakfast programme!

I had to switch it off due to over-cringing.

Ludicrous

You are misunderstanding. That was Joey trying to speak French. As long as you try and speak the language the Frogs give you a wide berth, no?

When I tried to speak French to the French in pubs etc, they just mostly ignored me & if I politely spoke english, they ignored me, even two extremely fit girls I was with tried being charming & got ignored, so nothing worked until they felt you had suffered enough.

I noted an American gentleman shouting at them loudly in English got served immediately, so I tried shouting loudly at them in English & got served immediately.

Perhaps Joey has discovered the polite secret: that they prefer a comedy, Clouseau style, accent.

I see Joey has taken up comedy now. I certainly cannot laugh at him as I have spoken English with a Chinese accent in order to be understood better
