Why does he play all game every game? He's shit and il for one be happy if he goes African cup in January, no more lung bursting runs, no goals no decent passing slow, this season he couldn't care but won't be dropped. Why?

He's one of the best players in the world at what he does. He was assuredly crap yesterday and I get your point about form but realistically you'd play Garcia yesterday instead? Think about it. Plus it's not even a fair comparison saying Garcia. It's just the easy question. No player is like Yaya when he can do what uhm he "does."
The rags with Yaya would probably win the league the next 3 seasons.
Should I go on?
He'll snap out of it and show us who he is. It's a long season. You have to ride the horse that is toure Yaya.

Big game player who will turn up next week like he did against Real. Please let Scholes and Giggs play.......

Frustrating the last few PL games fo sho.
As Doomie mentioned though, better the devil you know than Javi Garcia. He, my friends, looks dogshit.
Yaya is the man, he'll continue being the man and im sure he'll snap out of his little poor spell.
I have noticed he's actually putting his body on the line a bit more this season. Just a bit though.

He has hit a slight rough patch at the moment. He does look like he could certainly up his work rate a bit. That would not do him any harm.

I can just see this now...
KingKev: Mancini never told you what Yaya Toure really does?
Luke11993: He told me enough! He told Yaya is the worst player in the world!
KingKev: No. I am Mancini's father, and he says Yaya is the best player in the world, though I am not sure what he really does.
Luke11993: No... that's not true! That's impossible!
I blame the cold medicine...

He has scored two goals this season along with 2 assists, made 23 chances, got himself to be the best passer for us, made a couple of mistakes that the experts keep harping on about.
People really need to stop jumping on the he is lazy bandwagon.

He has looked a bit lethargic at times but to say he should be dropped is nuts. Who would replace him?

A beast of a player who needs to be rested every now and then. He cannot handle our current run of games unless he just sits and that's not where he is most potent. I personally think it's in his contract to play every game for bonus purposes so Mancini has adopted a 'Save his legs' approach and sit him as our outlet from midfield. Everything goes through him.

I'm not sure we can play without him, but it would be interesting to find out.

Yaya's form has been poor lately, and I think he does need a rest. But as I think most people do on here, I generally prefer having him in the team as we know what he's capable of, particularly in big games.
However, he should be given a break so I hope he's dropped for the Dortmund game.
I would actually like to see Tevez play as the attacking midfielder. When we played both Swansea and particularly West Brom earlier this season Tevez played a deeper role and was excellent. I, at least, think this could be an option for us if we wanted to rest Yaya, and if we lose Yaya for the African Cup of Nations.

Tuesday night is a selection of lambs being put out to slaughter & seeing if any survive. But if the past is anything to go by, Yaya will play, even if he's wearing an oxygen mask. Let's hope that's not the case, & he can be rested for next weekend.

He's been piss poor lately by his very high standrard. Unplayable on his day but he just hasn't had a day for a good while now.
Needs to put in a big performance on Sunday.

He's suspended isn't he? He's picked up 3 yellows in the CL.

I fully agree that yaya isn't at his best right know.last season he did some genius passing,he fought for every ball and scored some important goals.
now something is missing in his game.
But name me one midfielder who is at the same level as yaya and is available in the winter-I guess there is none...
by the way, rodwelll and garcia never fulfilled the expactations

yaya is missing one player and thats de jong, when de jong played it let yaya roam further up the pitch giving us other option. we dont have a de jong in the team therefore yaya has to hold off making those runs for us
