Not interested.
Let's buy a versatile, combative midfielder and decide whether we're going to persevere with all of our strikers. Those should be our priorities for January.

James Milner fits your description , hope he's soon fit . What we seriously lack is direct pace , think sterling could add this and he could be available if his new contract talks stall.

Absolutely, and I'd like to see him played through the middle more often. We could still use another one though.

I still think Milner has had mixed results when playing in the middle. But he has certainly shone when played on the wing and he actually does give us some of that pace and width that we need. I'd continue to play him there, on the flank, and instead tell Garcia to flirt more with the opposition players to distract them.

Apparently Sneider, or Sneijder as I think he prefers to be known, was offered a pay cut (or at least a contract extension with same pay) and was told by the Inter president to take a break from football whilst he considers his options. Stramaccioni denies that's the case but then he would wouldn't he?
It kind of reminds me a little of the Bent/ Villa/ Lambert discussion that was on here a week or so ago. Not to jump to conclusions but I can only see financial issues as to why Bent isn't even on the bench. Perhaps these kind of financial restrictions have been in place for a while and we're only noticing them because bigger names are involved, I mean, if some chump at Stoke was to sit out until January who would even notice (Didn't we have a player that lead to similar rumours on here? Someone tell me it wasn't Sexy Roque?)
Anyway, my point is I think in the outside world this economic climate is dictating that many businesses are up to the same as the above, so it's interesting (and sad) how football is reflecting that. I think.

+ he's got more crocked that Croque.
I'd delay to summer, tho. unless an improbable bargain on De Rossi.
when recoverd - and hopefully kept healthy - Jimmy Jaws, we have all we need to chase for a back-to-back and a good shout at The Pot.

Utter rubbish. Agent talk. There's a reason Inter want to give him a pay cut. Over the hill. Over paid.
