Go on, tell us what you thought of him. Was he the arbitrator of justice or was he just another slimey bastard who had took instruction from his masters?
You know my thoughts!

I thought he tried very hard to let the game go and although he made many mistakes but overall he had a decent game. He could have given a pen against Kolo , he should have sent Carlos off so it certainly wasn't all one way with the errors.

He's a cheating bastard who knew exactly what he was doing (as did Gaz Barry).

My point being that he allowed certain things for one team and not for the other. United were allowed certain priviledges that any other team wouldn't have been.
A very strange refereing display in my opinion. The Yaya through on the left, one even more so as he's let so much go before.

No referee should ever, EVER, stop the game in that situation.

I thought he had a fantastic game- up until the moment when he stopped Yaya's run to give the yellow. Then he went really shit. Was their 2 maybe 2 and a half minutes of extra time played?

No complaints. He should have sent Tevez off at the end but used a bit of common sense.

The last three derby games he had, they won in extra time.

I have greatest of tespect for you DH. But that is tripe. Pulling play back to book Rooney is a prime example.

The Yaya decision was completely incomprehensible and proves that he is a bent rag twat

Or Rooney if he'd booked him for two fouls in the first minute and various counts of dissent he chose to ignore. Just a poor referee.

There could of been a lot of bookings/ sendings off for both sides, but it was just the way or lack of way that he marshalled the game.....for me very poor from the word go

He was a joke. I think he booked tevez for being fouled? Munichs were constantly diving. He kept stopping play for free kicks when we had the advantage. Yet all the trafford munes I know seemed to think he was ''on our side''. Typical.
Hart fucked up when Clichy had the ball, and it proably shouldnt have been a free kick for rapist to score from.

He didn't have a great game but he didn't have a bad one either. In fact, most of his blown calls were in our favor.
He didn't give United a penalty when Kolo gave one away. He didn't give Ashley Young his goal that would've made it 3-0 and potentially could've killed it off. He didn't card Yaya for diving all over the place.
And the Tevez booking..yeah he got fouled, but he fouled Rafael after and that's what he got the yellow for.
But the bit with Yaya and Rooney was complete and utter bullshit

I was gutted and angry like we all were with that one but he blew because he thought Yaya had lost the ball and he was going to book Shrek. He underestimated Yaya could toe the ball past whoever. Just a mistake for me and one of those things.
I thought he got plenty wrong but it was far from one way.

Agree with the last bit. Thought he was pretty incompetent and came close to losing the game for a while, but I don't think it was biased, just poor.
