I just hate united more.
When i stopped supporting Chelsea a few years back and got a ticket for Manchester Blue, i promised myself this would be the last team i supported for at least another 4 years. Im staying true.

I still support city as much today as when I started supporting them in 69 . I was a 6 year old glory hunter at the time . City till I die says it all for me .

Considering we just lost a Derby match, I can't believe how calm I feel.
Still love my club, still trust them to do the job.

I wish I could say the same - I've been trying to take my mind off it since getting back but I just can't shake off this 'sick to the stomach' feeling I've got. I think I could take it better when we were losing to them all the time - but now we know we're the better side but still lost is so hard to cope with.

Still love City the same ( but not the Premier League 'Matchday Experince' ). Still fully expect City will rule the world in the near futture, & have no worries. As far as this season goes, imo, the club is dusting itself down for the next phase & just hoping to stay thereabouts whilst they sort it. A bit like Arsenal but just for one season rather than ten.
We were absolutely obviously a more talented side than Utd but they were better drilled at their jobs. Like Everton.

I think this very good thread is much proper to post what I felt during and after the game than the matchthread itself.
I just do apologize in advance because I am quite drunk. We went at an Ale House called Port Street, after the match with several top Blues and I had something like 8/9 ales called "human cannonball" that is about 9.5 % alchoolic degree, so that my spelling may result even less understandable than my usual poor.
Just to confirm that, if someone have sent ou a PM saying that You are an ignorant, certainly it was not me, Pal.
a Pal sent me a PM asking my impression on what went wrong: I think is just that we let them into the game while they were shitting their pants during the 1st 20 minutes, then we outplayed them for the whole 2nd half, still struggling to take our opportunities as other top sides use to do; and we ended up being cheated by those munich fucking cheating, corrupt wankers rags and that twat so desperate to return on whiskey nose favours.
Still it's much and much of a better taste to be a losing cheated Blue rather than a cheating munich bastard!
Fuclin COME ON CITEH, forever and ever!

I love City just as much as I always have but I am confused by Mancini's decisions - epecially today!
Whenever we start with Aguero and Tevez we end up with a strong grasp on the game and then we bring on Dzeko to finish the opposition off or Balotelli to add a bit of spice to the game (which is perfectly fine) but why did he start Balotelli? We then had to chase the game when Tevez came on so had basically wasted 50 minutes...
P.S. Yaya was outstanding today!

I need one of those half half scarves to make my support complete.

I have abused anyone in a united top this morning, but love for the club never changes.

Same. I have witnessed worse performances.. still, to know we can dominate stats and yet still lose is uncomfortable. A derby where we glean no points isn't unusual. I just hope we can return to the free-flowing, goal-smashing form we found early last Season.

Also, playing Pool tonight I'm a pub that shows only rugby games, the Landlord flat out refused to serve any United fans. That perked me up without a doubt!

I thought Tevez was sublime throughout his duration as well as Yaya.. and stand by my opinion that Silva and Nasri can't start together, as they mostly cancel each other out.

Apologise for the multitude of posts, rather intoxicated (hopefully it is understandable).

of course not ... but this season has felt very strange for me, and I haven't been able to put my finger on it.
I think after such a dramatic end to the season, we have been slow and sporadic this year. We can and do raise our game to our opponents level (except in Europe ... and domestically mostly resulting in draws), but in general we seem really flat. It's almost like a feel deadened a bit by the tremendous out pouring of emotion on the final day last season, now there hasn't been much to really stoke those fires again. I feel like i'm waiting for it but it's not coming.
The support isn't less, but right now I'm not fired up like I want to be. I was hoping that a derby win would do it, and when zaba's goal went in I was fucking up and feeling it again ... of course we know how that ended. I just feel like some spark is missing this season. I hope we find it.

I'm right there with you. I am pissed and frustrated by the form of some players but its a long season and the rags looked like shit most of the match. The fact we didn't get at least a draw was criminal but I've not lost faith in this group.

Whoa, you bloody never did!? Where did you watch it?
At least the police had the common sense not to let the scum out at the same time as us at the end of this derby. Didn't see any trouble at all. Apart from during the match.
And for the record, course I don't support City any less. My feelings for one or two players have become a little more polarised though.

Spot on. That sour taste after losing a game, I didn't feel it at all. I have a feeling we'll bounce back even stronger, I really wanna see the hunger within the squad next game against Newcastle.
