They signed a player that made them much better.
We sold De Jong and signed a bunch of average squad players.

I didn't know the league title was decided in December. Sick of all the pessimism on the site. Have you all forgotten how we overcame an 8 point deficit towards the end of last season?

Some here certainly think so. Why not try supporting the club rather than giving up already?

They have won nothing at all! Season is so long and an own gol from Nasri could change my opinion about a player who always hates Man City!

Again, his legs won't last long. Soon enough injuries will get the best of him.

passenger during the game - has everything to thank the idiocy/cowardlyness of Nasri for his goal which otherwise was heading safely towards harts outstretched arms

They'd be nowhere without his goals.
We all hate fergie but he knows what he's doing.

I don't think it takes a degree in rocket science to know signing arguably the best striker in the league will massivley improve your team. However, £24m (plus wages of around £200k per week on a 4 year deal) for a near 30 year old with a bad injury record smacks of short-termism brought about by panic. Especially for a club who's CEO said about 18 months ago that Utd would never again buy a player older than 27 years old because it "made no economic sense".
Plus, van Persie is an utter c*nt and for that reason I'm glad City didn't buy him, even if it costs us the title this season.

Sunday was a nasty kick in the bollocks, the like of which we haven't come to expect for a little while.
You get kicked in the bollocks, it hurts for a while, and you get up and you get in with it. Hopefully with renewed vigour, and a point to prove. That is the only appropriate response from hereon in. Luckily we have time to make this up.
So many fans, red and blue, are acting like thye just won the league and we've lost it. It's December.

Said it this summer and will say it again. Even if they win a couple of titles because of it I'm glad they got him. Gonna cost em WAY MORE than they can afford and only sends them further into economic chaos.
Utd are spending beyond their means so Ferguson can have a shot at a few more succesfull seasons before he leaves, it's gonna cost em dear in the long run.

I believe that ultimately they are fine financially. It ludicrous to think they are fucked with the turnover they have. It's wishful thinking.
