All points are important, but this game is huge, 3 points is a must but the attitude of the players is just as important.

Mancini has got to get the players motivated and if he cant do it for this game then he has problems.

Im sure this has been pointed out before, but I do hope to read in Doug's training report tomorrow, that for the first hour Nasri and Tevez were told to stand still and the rest of the squad and a handful of City seasoncard holders then smashed balls at them from 10 yards away, aiming for their head/body/bollocks

The only squad member excused from this exercise would be Clichy, who would spend the first hour at the Etihad at the South Stand end, 5 yards from the touchline, level with the edge of his own box, smashing balls into the stand like he f*****g should have done yesterday.

Joe Hart can spend the time re-acquainting himself with what actually making a save is, as the only thing he stopped yesterday was a pitch invader.

They've lost (again) today and now are with 17 pts from 16 games ... are we going to play them as a team in the bottom half or consider them wounded and worthy of coming out roaring any game now and play like last season when they were constantly knocking on that 4th spot (instead of the 14th, they occupy now)?

And will Mancini (finally) settle on a playing XI for us now or (I suspect) there will be another 5 changes in the starting lineup?

I'd be gobsmacked if he did ... Tevez and Dzeko is my guess (and a guess is all it can be nowadays)

I think every single one of us has learnt through the last 11 months or so that Aguero/Tevez should start up front and Dzeko should never start but always be on the bench and come on when needed ... Balo can sit on bench or down the tunnel whateva!

WHY THE HELL DOES MANCINI NOT SEE THIS?? I think he has had way too many options at his hand, would we have had just the two strikers in squad, would have been easier for him ... Sometimes I feel he makes 4-5 changes from one game to next just for the sake of rotation, to try and keep everyone happy, to justify to club mgmt and owners that he needs this big a squad and is useful to him etc etc ... well, with us out of Champions League/Europa too and League Cup, a whole lot of players are going to give him headache now, and not just the four strikers he continues to shuffle ...

I read somewhere Trixi has said the squad is not 'balanced' and in Jan he is going to try and re-balance it (read: shift a few guys out, none coming in, unless a swap for a particular position)

If you're watching our Saturday game via TV it's worth mentioning we have the EARLY KICKOFF - there's always one or two people that end up missing it.

So no Kompany and no Barry this weekend ... I hope Rodwell is fit, still is a better replacement for Barry than Garcia. But who'll replace Kompany? Lescott or Kolo?

Logic would dictate Kolo a) because he played well when he came on and b) he's a right footed centre back whereas both Lescott and Nastastic are left sided.

I'm pretty handy at standing in a wall ... and I'd do it at 1/10th the cost.
