The cheek of QPR, charging City £55 a ticket for a night game on a tuesday night at Loftus Hole! Now that is just crazy and I hope we boycott them for trying to cash in before they are relegated. Cheeky twunts

Thought it was referring to one of these old black & white films they stick on at Christmas.

If we lend him Scott Sinclair they'll knock it down to a tenner & a pair of nylons.

unfortunately seems to be par for the course now. i'm sure there were a few people on this site that forked out £53 for Southampton at home on the opening day.

Norwich play at Loftus Road a few days after we do, they are only charging them £35.00

Not sure how this can be justified.

It's a piss take but whilst the demand is there all the big clubs will be exploited this way. The only way to reduce the price of tickets nationally is for the better followed clubs fans to revolt and simply stop going to away games but that would destroy the experience of going to the game for everybody, guess clubs will keep hiking prices until they find that financial tipping point for home and away fans and make a big deal of it when they do drop prices for early cup games or for being in the cup scheme etc.
I'd have thought most City fans would have hoped we were already there, season tickets are still just about worth the money but more and more are being shared between friends these days. Everybody has a walk away price.

The only good thing in all this is that a sneaky f*cker as me could get a grip on a ticket as going to the odd games now and then.
I am sorry for the regulars though I must say.
Cheers!!

My points total only allowed me to get a ticket today, but when I checked there were only restricted view seats available for £48-£53. I think I'll pass now.

The only positive here is that we paid the same price for this fixtute last season. When we went to Norwich it was £52 a ticket a full £10 more than I paid last season. I don't know if it was the Norwich fans on a wind-up or not,but a couple of lads I was speaking with in the hotel said that Wigan paid £19 & WBA £23 for the same tickets this season. I know a few lads who watch Utd & they paid the same as we did this season.

Tickets prices away from home are getting out of hand & I refuse to pay over £60 to go to the game at The Arse. Chelsea was bad enough at £57. We all need to stick together with a boycott. I'm lucky in that I have enough loyalty points to get first dabs on away tickets but if I don't take a ticket, I know there are plenty of other blues who would snap them up

It might help if they had a decent ground instead of playing in a shoe box.

Tonbridge is in Kent.

Romford isn't strictly speaking a cockney area, but will have a fair few older people living there who might describe themselves thus.

To be cockney in a literal sense was to be born within the area in which the sound of the bells of a certain church could be heard. Said church was on the East of the City of London. Most cockneys were therefore born within a mile or two of the City.

Its not really a modern way of describing someone - hence the chance that someone may have been born much closer in to the centre of town, but now live in Romford (close to t'M25).

fuck me, i don't need the history or geography lesson, i know tonbridge is in kent for example, and that most of your fans don't live in east london. they live in places like romford. and brentwood. and tonbridge. because east london is a shithole.

Thanks for coming, it's been lovely.

true cockneys were born within spitting distance of the muezzin of the east london mosque. FACT.
